Actually, gang, Chilliwack was a 2-hit wonder here in America. Their immediate followup to ‘My girl’ was, ‘I believe’ which hit #33 in Billboard. Look it up, if ya don’t believe me. God bless!

You are correct. In fact, I noted that Chilliwack is a two-hit wonder in the post and that it hit #33 on the Billboard Top 40, as you rightly noted. I think many people view them as a one-hit wonder in the same way that people would also think Franke and the Knockouts is a one-hit wonder band as well for “Sweetheart,” their 1981 top 10 hit. But actually, Franke landed three songs in the top 40…but no one remembers the other two (unless you’re a member of the Franke and the Knockouts fan club). Sometimes I break the rules and write about “non-traditional” one-hit wonders simply because the songs are so great (My Girl is a great example of that phenomenon).
